Ciao! Bare witness to rolling Tuscan hills and famed works of art on your Italian journey as you get a small taste of la dolce vita. Italy is a geographical masterpiece, decadent in culture, food and romance. Savor the smoothest gelato you’ve ever had, as you wind through the old-world cobblestone roads of Florence and a few days later, watch the sunlight bounce off the Venetian architecture lining the Grand Canal as you lounge in a traditional gondola. Italy is enchanting and made for enjoyment, and you deserve to experience it!

I’m going to Rome, Florence and Venice with my family later this year, Akosua. Burano wasn’t on my radar, but I’m going to convince everyone that we should at least take a day trip and will be sure to check out that restaurant. Thanks for the recommendation!

This distant guide is right on time! I’m taking a quick solo trip to Florence before meeting up in Naples for the Amalfi Coast TN Experience. Looking forward to squeezing in what I can from the guide, especially the museums and the food!

I’m going to England and London in June so I’m looking forward to using this Distance Guide to plan my trip! Akosua and and Skye, what cities would you recommend I visit besides Venice? Is it pretty easy to travel around? I’ll be traveling alone for most of my trip.

Hey! I would say def these cities in the guide for sure and if you can get down to Rome – do it! I throughly enjoyed myself. I used the train in the guide and got to Rome from Florence for under $20 USD. Have a blast!

Venice & Burano were cool, but Florence is by far my favorite city in Italy! I spent 4 days in Rome, 3 days in Florence and 2 days in Venice. If I had to do it all over again, I would spend more time in Florence. When I head back to Italy, I would like to go to the Amalfi Coast. If I had to give one piece of advice on Venice I would say do not depend on your phones GPS and stay close to the train station. Enjoy Italy!!
Burano is amazing and a must visit if you’re in Venice! One of my favorite restaurants is Trattoria al Gatto Nero (The Black Cat). Look it up if you go!!
